Press Release on NATO Actions in Former Yugoslavia – HSC93
The Russian Federation, Brazil, Japan, Cape Verde, Venezuela, China, Morocco, Hungary and Pakistan express their concern following alarming reports that NATO members of the Security Council are unilaterally addressing the situation in the former Yugoslavia without input or open conversation from non-NATO members. This undermines the founding principles of the Security Council, which was designed as a body to uphold world peace. We urge NATO members of the Security Council to refocus their efforts towards the Security Council so we can bring peace and aid to this region as quickly as possible.
