Poland is proud of Draft Resolution JJ, which addresses youth disarmament and nonproliferation. Currently, there are 1.8 billion youth in the world, according to the United Nations. Of those 1.8 billion, 90 percent are in developing countries, and they are the primary victims of armed conflict. Our resolution aims at addressing this issue through education, outreach programs and youth-led initiatives. Our youth are the future of our world, and it is imperative that we address this issue to save lives and prevent future violence. I urge all in GA First to read Resolution JJ and aid Poland in tackling this issue. We all must stand together for the children.
