IAEA Sunday Morning Update
Opening With a Bang:
The International Atomic Energy Agency opened with the bang Saturday night. Norway opened debate expressing concerns about the rate at which nuclear experts are retiring and shared concerns about not having a skilled workforce to take up the mantle. This body spent the majority of Saturday night in suspensions of the meeting to share ideas and begin writing draft resolutions. The Representatives of Mexico led the conversation about nuclear transportation and stressed the importance of alerting countries to nuclear materials being moved across state lines.
