Diplomacy Despite Difficulties

The United Nations Environment Assembly has made significant progress on two draft resolutions which are nearly completed, but unfortunately technical difficulties have made representatives unable to sign documents and work with the Rapporteurs. Despite these setbacks, representatives have been trying to keep the discussion from going in circles and have started drafting at least one resolution in the meantime. Representatives Tarik Bajgoric of Singapore, Caleb Moody of Nigeria and Hailey Nicholas of Nicaragua explained that the resolution they are working on will nationalize crude oil as a way for countries to further develop their economies with the materials and technologies that they already have.
