Press Release: China Concerned at Security Council’s Current Trajectory
China is deeply concerned about the ongoing situation in the Security Council as it pertains to the emergency situation in Iraq. China feels that the Council is operating in the blind instead of taking the time necessary to call the affected parties to represent their sides. Given the uncertainty still remaining, China believes that the Council is poised to create an escalation of the situation if immediate action is not taken to step back from the current trajectory.
