Breaking News: US Fighter Jet Shot Down by Chinese Warship

This is a developing story.

29 November 2023: The Security Council received inside information from a news source that a United States fighter jet was allegedly shot down by a Chinese warship. However, the location is currently unknown. This information was confirmed by an American government official, whose name was not disclosed. There are reports that the Chinese warship also shot at an additional American fighter jet. 

When Representative Soham Gupta of the United States was pressed for information regarding the downed plane, he refused to comment. There is no word on when a statement will be given by the country. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the amount of lives lost or the danger the situation provides, however as further information becomes available follow-up articles may be made.
