GA First has passed Resolution 1/3, the first resolution being passed late Tuesday. Members GA First have been going back and forth between two topics, usage of biological weapons and the mechanism of ensuring youth having access to be engaged in disarmament issues.

Resolution 1/3 is focusing on creating regional enactment of promoting trade in biosecurity and limiting disinformation in biological weapons, despite having the support of large sections from Member States, there are still some Representatives feeling doubtful about this Resolution. Representative Dan Lenzi of Ukraine said, “This resolution is too general but not specific enough, directly developed and suitable in EU countries instead of all regions around the world, and these are the reasons why we ultimately voted no.”
